St. Louis Marriott West

“The only hotel that I use while I’m in St. Louis”

5 of 5 starsReviewed July 9, 2013

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff, the building, the room, and the location are all perfect. The rooms have always been spotless and comfy. I love the fact that the hotel is a little out of the city, but close enough to still be able to easily get to all the great attractions in St. Louis. My husband and I go to concerts and also frequent the Dave and Buster’s in Maryland Heights, so that makes this location even more appealing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a four star property on a two star budget.

Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Beach/Oceanfront
View from the balcony

My husband and I took a week long road trip down the southern part of the east coast with my parents this summer and our journey ended in Pompano Beach. This hotel was the highlight of our trip! It was great to pull up to the hotel, after midnight, and have the valet immediately greet us. The front desk staff were so pleasant! I told them that it was my husband’s 30th birthday and they even upgraded us to a two bedroom/two bathroom/two balcony room facing the ocean. The entire experience was just amazing.

The location is great, if you’re looking to spend the majority of the time on the beach. There was a stand right next door that rented jet skis, umbrellas, and other beach toys. A little pricey, but totally worth it to not have to deal with the crowds at the main beach down the road. Within just a few miles there are several great restaurants and a nice movie theater. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the Pompano/FTL area.

Room Tip: The two bedroom rooms that face the ocean are great for multiple couples or families with kids.
