In case I didn’t convey it well enough before…

I am so over the 230’s.  If I see a 23(insert random number here) on that scale Wednesday, I’m going to be a completely inappropriate amount of furious teensy tinesy bit angry.

So, I’ve decided to do everything possible to make sure that doesn’t happen.  No more skipping workouts, no more restaurants, and no more staying tucked away in my comfort zone.

Here are the ways I plan on busting through this plateau:

#1 – No restaurants for (at least) 30 days.

#2 – I joined the YMCA 2 blocks from my work and plan on going as often as possible.  I went yesterday and today and I’ve already scheduled classes on Sunday with a couple of friends.

#4 – Completely demolish my comfort zone.

Fall races

#5 – How could I ever do any of this without an amazing command center!?

Hopefully I’ll be able to sprinkle in a hike or two and a session at LAC with all my Lexington girls.  I was really close to registering for a 15K with a friend of mine from Michigan.  There’s a race in Chicago called the Hot Chocolate 5K/15K that would be about half way between us.  Right now we’re a little nervous about the weather since it falls on the first Sunday in November.

I have to admit though, I’m kind of psyched at the idea, so maybe we’ll change our minds.

Today, it was just me at the gym so I decided to hang out in the women’s center on the treadmill and the elliptical.  I bumped into a friend of mine as she was leaving a yoga class and she said she’s going to join us for Body Pump and yoga on Sunday.  The more the merrier!  Unfortunately, I had to cut my workout short because I had an issue joining online so I had to do it at the front desk and it took a while.

Then I might have gotten lost a little.

Not too terrible of a burn for a lunch workout.  I decided to try my watch one more time before I threw it in the trash (no receipt for the warranty) and as luck would have it:

Hopefully it will keep working for a while (maybe even better when I connect it to the premium strap I ordered).  I would really like to see an accurate distance while we’re geocaching in the morning.

Speaking of geocaching, it’s time for bed if I’m ever going to get up and go in the morning.  I plan on sharing more about the command center over the weekend.  It was nice to get a little crafty.
