Well, I have my first knee injury.
Luckily, it doesn’t seem to be too terrible, just kind of twisted. Either way, I couldn’t risk it not being 100% for this Saturday’s race. So I’ve spent the past couple of afternoons like this:
This week has been pretty uneventful so far. Tomorrow is weigh-in and I’m really hoping for a big loss this week. I know that working out is causing me to lose weight faster, but I’m dropping inches rather quickly and I have found that I prefer that…most of the time. I haven’t seen a real budge on the scale in several weeks, so it would be nice to see that number go down a bit. In order for me to be in the 220’s before we leave for vacation I would need to lose three pounds a week between now and then. However, I’m already three pounds behind. I would need to weigh in at 254 tomorrow morning in order to be back on schedule. I highly doubt that’s going to happen. I would be happy to just be down to 257. I don’t think my fat percentage will be down because I haven’t worked out since Saturday. For this week, I’m 100% ok with that.
I have to stop and pick up a black compression shirt for the race this weekend. I think while I’m out I’m also going to pick up a new pair of shoes. My toe has been poking out of the mesh on my everyday shoes for a couple of months now. I think it’s time to finally get a new pair. That can be my little gift to myself for the race. J
Just one more week of class and then I get a little break. I can’t wait to be finished with this degree. A Bachelor’s in Business is going to be a cake walk compared to IT. Just three more classes. Just three…
Now, I’m going to spend the rest of my evening vegging out to Once Upon a Time and then to bed. I’m definitely going to be catching up on some ZZZ’s this weekend.
