I’ve decided to go back to weighing in on Wednesdays. It’s nice to have that little cushion after the weekend before stepping onto the scales.
So without further ado, today’s weigh in was…
3(ish) pounds down for the week and a grand total of 145 pounds lost.
I feel like I’ve been in the 230’s for eternity.
I also feel like I say that at each 10 pound increment.
But seriously, the 230’s have been the worst. The closer I get to seeing a 1 in front of my weight, the slower time starts to go. I’ve gotten back into the habit of weighing every day (which I hate!) because I smile a little (or cry a lot) every time it moves an ounce.
Cliff and I are planning on sitting down this weekend and making a new game plan for next year. Our one year anniversary of making a concentrated effort to get healthy is July 10th and we want to set some new and more focused targets for the upcoming year other than “lose 100 pounds.” For the first time in over a decade I’m actually less than 100 pounds away from my goal weight (160) and I have a ton of fitness goals that I want to set as well (starting with a mud run!) I also want to establish a stricter running routine so that I can start training for my first half marathon in October 2015 with a good friend of mine that lives in Ann Arbor, MI.
We’re headed to Mayfield to visit family this weekend and I’m really looking forward to it. My Dad started walking earlier this year so that he could train with me for my first 5K and after the 5K my Mom started walking too! I’m so incredibly proud of both of them and I can’t wait to go with them this weekend. They have the perfect neighborhood to run in (I.E. flat). Plus look at this weather!
I plan on taking the furbabies on LOTS of walks this weekend. Wish me luck…
